At the INTO Centre, you will find the expertise and up-to-date facilities you need to make maximum progress with your English. Students and professionals with an advanced level of English have particular needs and, above all, need the stimulation of challenging, innovative and well-prepared teaching materials. Our
highly qualified teachers have many years' experience of dealing with students at this level and ensuring that they benefit from our courses. INTO is part of University of East Anglia, a campus university just 15 minutes from the centre of Norwich. It offers a friendly and safe environment for studying and living. Situated in 130 hectares of parkland, with its own lake, the campus combines natural beauty and striking architecture. Built in the 1960s, the University, including Sir Norman Foster's famous Sainsbury Centre for the Visual Arts, has won many awards for its innovative design. The University is home to the British Centre for Literary Translation, where much research is carried out on translation theory and practice. University of East Anglia also has one of the country's top rated film studies departments.
The campus has all the essentials for daily living including banks, a supermarket,
restaurants, cafes, bars, bookshops, a post office and a travel agent. There is a modern and well-equipped library and computing centre offering 24-hour access to the internet and e-mail for all students. University of East Anglia also has the largest sports complex of any university in the UK. The Sportspark has a 50m Olympic swimming pool and arenas for basketball and football, as well as tennis and squash courts and a fully-equipped gymnasium.
The University is 3 miles (5km) from the attractive and historic city of Norwich. Less than two hours by train from London, Norwich is unrivalled in the east of England as a centre for leisure, entertainment, culture and shopping. There are still many medieval buildings, the most magnificent being the 11th century cathedral and Norman castle. Norwich is in the centre of Norfolk, a region famous for its unspoilt countryside and waterways. There are many small villages and large stately homes to visit as well as miles of riverside and coastal walks.
